Blaby Mind Matters Event

On Saturday 8 September, Life Links were invited to attend Blaby Mind Matters Wellbeing Event. The event coincided with World Suicide Prevention Day and gave Life Links a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and get people talking about mental health. There were many different activities to promote wellbeing, such as reflexology and mindfulness. The event brought together different organisations for a fun and informative day for the community! Staff met some fantastic people who shared their experiences of mental health and wellbeing. Together with this, it gave Life Links the opportunity to speak to Leicestershire Fire Service, Police and other wellbeing organisations to understand the fantastic work they do.

Terri, one of our Recovery Workers, really enjoyed the day:

It was great to speak to lots of people about our service and learn about other services. Jen, the Local Area Coordinator, was very welcoming and friendly. She did a great job at organising the day. Thank you!

Thank you to Jen and everyone else for inviting us along. See you again soon!
