On 1 May our Recovery Worker Shante, and Volunteer Steve were pleased to attend the Oak Centre Community Centre in Leicester, to present a workshop on wellbeing to their monthly group.
The workshop aimed to increase the group’s understanding of how our daily lives can affect our wellbeing, physically, mentally, and of course emotionally and helped attendees to consider things we can do to improve our lives.
Everyone in the group got involved in to the workshop, providing ideas, sharing experiences and giving many examples of what affects our wellbeing.
Thank you to the group at the Oak Centre for their fantastic input and interaction and for welcoming us. We can’t also forget the wonderful cake! We hope to visit again soon.
