Life Links Promote Carer Support in Oadby and Wigston

Life Links were pleased to join Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL) for their Carers Keeping Healthy and Connected Event. This event focussed on carer support in Oadby and Wigston, and brought together a range of different agencies to promote the safety and wellbeing of its residents. Our team at Life Links were there with a stall, providing information about their service and meeting attending members of the public

All of the team thoroughly enjoyed the event, with Shanté from Life Links saying:

“It was great to meet with residents of Oadby and Wigston. We are keen for anyone living in the area to know that mental health support is available to them if they feel they are struggling. My favourite part of the day was the laughter yoga, which included all visitors and standholders. It really showed how laughter can help build our positive emotions and reduce stress.”

Thank you to VASL and the residents of Oadby and Wigston for having us. We look forward to working together again in the future.
