Mental Health Awareness Week 2019
Mental Health Awareness Week is fast approaching! This year’s theme is ‘body image: how we see ourselves and how this makes us feel’. We’re busy preparing lots of fun activities behind the scenes!
Activities include workshops and having stalls throughout the city, aiming to raise awareness of this issue and mental health in general. Alongside working in partnership with some local organisations, we will be running open access events for you to come along to.
If you are interested in learning more about your mental well being we will be at the following spots during Mental Health Awareness Week.
Haymarket shopping centre – Friday 17th May 10am – 5pm
LCIL/ West End Centre- Connect Me Café – Friday 17th May 10am-2pm
Involvement Centre/Bradgate Unit- Friday 17th May 11-2pm
We will be delivering a workshop around body image at the involvement centre followed by a stall in the main hall.
See you there!
