Volunteers Week

During Volunteers Week, Shannon, Dipika (Volunteer Co-ordinator’s) and Leah (Volunteer) attended Voluntary Action Leicestershire’s ‘Volunteer Breakfast Celebration Event’ on Tuesday 4 June at the Brite Centre. There was a short workshop talking about the benefits of volunteering and a speed networking session to speak to members of the public, existing and potential volunteers. There was also a raffle for current volunteers and to our delight, Leah won a gardening set!

Life Links also celebrated our volunteers by going for a lovely meal. We cannot thank our volunteers enough for the time and passion they put into their roles, we greatly appreciate it!
