Life Links Attends ‘Memo’s of the Mind’ at The Curve
On Saturday 18 August, Life links attended the memos of the mind event at the curve theatre in Leicester. This was a brilliant event which aimed to open up a conversation with young people about mental health, through the means of art, dance, graffiti spoken word and music.
Staff from Life Links had a great time speaking to individuals about the link between music and mood and they really enjoyed hearing from so many young people about what what kinds of music they listen to when they’re in a certain mood. We also let them know about the services we provide at Life Links and how they can access support if they need it.
Alongside this, the event provided a brilliant opportunity for us to speak to other professionals, who gave us an insight into how their organisations are promoting wellbeing around the city and county.
