This week is National Volunteers’ Week and so we’re taking the opportunity to say a big thank you to all of our lovely volunteers!

Tuesday has been volunteering with us at Life Links for the last six  months. Below, Tuesday reflects on her volunteering journey so far and shares what she has learnt from the experience:-

“Volunteering at Life Links has been an extremely invaluable experience. This opportunity has allowed me to interact with various people over the phone or face-to-face at GP surgeries, providing them with information, advice and navigation to other local services. I have learnt so much about the different organisations available within the community and the help that they offer and although it has been challenging at times, it has been an incredibly rewarding experience, knowing that I am playing a part in the recovery of others. By working alongside the mental health Recovery Workers at Life Links, I have been able to gain insight into different therapeutic techniques and methods of coping. I would recommend volunteering with Richmond Fellowship’s Life Links, as it is a great opportunity to help others and gain experience working directly with clients.”

Thank you to Tuesday and all of our volunteers for your hard work and time!
