On the 22nd of May, Recovery Worker Lise and volunteer Steve presented a workshop for The Centre Women’s Group. The topic of today was grounding techniques as a method to relieve stress and negative thoughts.
The group was very engaged with the activities and got to try out some grounding techniques relating to activating our senses, such as tasting lemon and smelling peppermint leaves. The group gave some lovely feedback at the end of the workshop, and several individuals evaluated themselves as more able to manage their mental health after our presentation. We were so happy to have helped!
